The MV-CU020-90GC V2 is a 2 MP (2048 × 1200) color area-scan camera built around the 1/1.7-inch global-shutter GMAX4002 CMOS sensor and fitted with a Gigabit Ethernet interface. As a member of the cost-effective CU series it combines a large 4 μm × 4 μm pixel with 40.8 dB SNR and 66.9 dB dynamic range, delivering 49 fps at full resolution. The global shutter freezes moving objects across the whole frame without geometric distortion.
The Gigabit Ethernet link (1000 Mbit/s, backward compatible with 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet) is powered from 9–24 VDC, PoE is available as an option, and typical consumption is just 2 W at 12 VDC. A single 6-pin P7 connector carries both power and I/O: an opto-isolated input (Line 0), an opto-isolated output (Line 1) and a bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2). The 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm C-mount housing weighs about 100 g, and GigE Vision V2.0 / GenICam compliance lets it drop into standards-based third-party software, with auto or manual gain and exposure, customized ROI and horizontal/vertical image reversal available on board.

Where it is used
A 49 fps color stream at full resolution is a balanced fit for color-based sorting, label and print verification and packaging integrity checks on medium-speed lines. The global shutter captures products moving along a conveyor without blur, and the PoE option keeps cabling to a single run. It can also be considered for color-coded cap, fill-level and product-mix verification.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
