The MV-CU020-19GM V3 is a monochrome CU-series camera with a 1/2.8-inch rolling-shutter CMOS sensor, 1920 × 1080 resolution and a Gigabit Ethernet interface. What sets it apart in the cost-effective family is its 45.6 dB SNR and a 74 dB dynamic range that extends to 90 dB in WDR mode, paired with a 2.9 μm × 2.9 μm pixel, 0–24 dB gain and 56 fps. Wide dynamic range, noise reduction and sharpness functions are built into the camera.
The GigE interface transmits up to 100 meters without a repeater, and PoE support lets data and power share one cable; alternatively a 9–24 VDC supply is used, with typical draw of 2.4 W at 12 VDC. Hardware trigger, software trigger and free-run modes are served by the 6-pin P7 connector with its opto-isolated input (Line 0), opto-isolated output (Line 1) and bi-directional non-isolated line (Line 2), and a customized filter with strong anti-interference ability is optional. The 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm C-mount housing weighs about 100 g and connects to standards-based third-party software through GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam.

Where it is used
A dynamic range that reaches 90 dB in WDR mode is an asset where bright reflective metal and deep shadow share the same frame, for example at warehouse doors or stations facing daylight with changing illumination. 1080p monochrome imaging at 56 fps is adequate for code reading, plate and character recognition and product presence checks in logistics. The long GigE cable reach is useful in plants where the camera sits far from the control cabinet.
