HIKROBOT MV-CU013-A1UC — Area Scan Cameras

With 210 fps at 1280 × 1024 in Bayer GB 8, MV-CU013-A1UC is the fastest of the 1.3 MP CU cameras in this group, built on a 1/2″ global-shutter CMOS with 4.8 μm × 4.8 μm pixels. It measures 40.3 dB SNR and 54.2 dB dynamic range, adjusts gain over 0–16 dB and exposure over 30 μs to 10 s, and — unlike the plain Bayer models — can output YUV422Packed, YUV422_YUYV_Packed, RGB 8, BGR 8 and Mono 8/10/12 as well. A Sequencer and multiple ISP functions are listed among its features.
The USB 3.0 link (USB 2.0 compatible) carries either raw Bayer or camera-converted RGB/YUV frames and can supply the camera’s typical 2.1 W at 5 VDC, with 9–24 VDC as an alternative input. Line 0 (opto-isolated input), Line 1 (opto-isolated output) and Line 2 (bidirectional, non-isolated) on the 6-pin P7 connector let the Sequencer be driven by external triggers and lighting be switched in step. ROI selection and image reversal are available, the 29 × 29 × 30 mm, ~76 g C-mount body is IP30 with a lens fitted, and USB3 Vision and GenICam compatibility mean third-party software can use it directly.

Where it is used
Where a color decision must be made 200-plus times a second — sorting granules, beans or recyclate on high-throughput chutes, or inspecting fast pharmaceutical blister fills — this model gives the frame budget while handing the host finished RGB images. Its Sequencer suits multi-exposure captures of the same object, for instance a glossy label imaged bright and dark within a single trigger cycle. Compact size and USB power also make it a good camera for mobile test carts and educational vision setups.
