HIKROBOT MV-CE120-10GM — Area Scan Cameras
12 MP, Sony IMX226, GigE, Mono, 9.6 fps

MV-CE120-10GM is the highest-resolution model in this fact sheet: a Sony IMX226 rolling shutter sensor delivers 12 MP mono images at 4024×3036, running at 9.6 fps. Its 1.85 μm pixel size on a 1/1.7″ format, together with 40.5 dB SNR / 70.5 dB dynamic range, gives it both higher resolution and stronger signal quality than the MV-CE100-30GC. HIKROBOT lists this model as ‘Delisting Preparation’.
The GigE interface supports cabling up to 100 m without a repeater; the 6-pin Hirose connector carries 12 VDC power or PoE, plus I/O (one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output, one bidirectional line). Up to 128 MB of onboard memory for burst transmission and retransmission supports reliable delivery of large 12 MP frames over the network. GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliance integrate directly with the MVS client and third-party software.

Where it is used
12 MP mono resolution with a high 70.5 dB dynamic range fits precision applications where resolution matters most and line speed is moderate-to-low — high-accuracy dimensional measurement, PCB trace and solder inspection, and large-area pattern or text verification in electronics and precision manufacturing.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
