MV-CE050-31GC pairs the same Aptina AR0521 rolling shutter sensor with a GigE interface, reaching 24 fps at 2592×1944. Unlike its USB3.0 sibling (MV-CE050-30UC), it’s specified at 37 dB SNR, 63 dB dynamic range, and a 0–23 dB gain range — the wider dynamic range gives it an edge under difficult lighting. HIKROBOT also lists this model as ‘Delisting Preparation’.
The GigE connection supports cable runs up to 100 m without a repeater; the 6-pin Hirose connector carries power — 9–24 VDC external or PoE — and I/O (one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output, one bidirectional line). Its distinguishing feature is up to 128 MB of onboard memory for burst transmission and retransmission, which reduces data loss during network delays. GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliance simplify integration with standard machine vision software.
