The MV-CB120-10UM-S V4 is the M12-mount version of the CB Series USB3.0 12 MP mono camera, reaching 30 fps at 4032 × 3036 on the same Sony IMX226 sensor. It shares the same 35 × 35 × 8.6 mm body and 30 g weight as its C-mount sibling, but uses a more compact M12 lens socket instead of C-mount. As a board-level camera it has no enclosure of its own — the PCB must be mounted into a housing designed by the customer.
USB 3.0 combines power (typ. 1.5 W @ 5 VDC) and data on a single cable. Two bi-directional non-isolated I/O lines support external triggering or synchronization. The M12 mount offers a more compact optical solution than C-mount, suiting designs where the lens itself needs to stay as compact as the camera; USB3 Vision/GenICam compliance ensures direct recognition by the MVS client.

Where it is used
The M12 lens option makes this model suitable for integration into compact devices where camera size is critical — small measurement stations, embedded inspection modules, or portable equipment. Combined, 30 fps and 12 MP resolution still deliver detailed imaging even inside such compact designs.
