HIKROBOT MV-CB013-A0UC-C — Area Scan Cameras

The MV-CB013-A0UC-C brings color capture to the CB013 line: the same 1280×1024, 201 fps, 4.8 µm-pixel global-shutter sensor as the mono models, now behind a Bayer GB color filter with RGB, BGR and YUV422 output options alongside raw Bayer and mono formats. Typical power draw rises to 2.8 W at 5 VDC — noticeably higher than the 1.6 W of the mono C-mount version — reflecting the extra color-processing load. It is a bare board with a C-mount lens seat, still without a housing, so the exposed PCB and mounting holes go inside the customer’s own enclosure.
Power and data still travel over one USB3.0 cable, and the two bidirectional non-isolated I/O lines remain available for trigger and output signalling. The C-mount seat lets integrators fit standard C-mount lenses, and the listed image-interpolation feature for color sensors is aimed at improving color correction quality. USB3 Vision and GenICam compliance keep it compatible with MVS and other compliant software.

Where it is used
Color capture at 1.3 MP/201 fps fits applications where hue or printed color is the pass/fail criterion — sorting parts or packaging by color, verifying label or print colors, or color-based defect detection on fast lines — where the mono variants would not carry the needed information.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
