The MV-CB120-10UM-C V4 is the C-mount version of the CB Series USB3.0 board-level 12 MP mono camera. It shares the Sony IMX226 sensor at up to 30 fps and 4032 × 3036 resolution. Unlike its bare-board sibling, it carries a standard C-mount lens socket; with no enclosure of its own, this 35 × 35 × 8.6 mm PCB is designed to be mounted, lens holder included, into the customer’s own mechanical structure.
USB 3.0 carries both power (typ. 1.5 W @ 5 VDC) and data, so no extra cabling is needed. Two bi-directional non-isolated I/O lines are available for trigger and sync signals. The C-mount option accepts the wide range of standard machine-vision lenses already on the market, and USB3 Vision/GenICam compliance guarantees smooth recognition by the MVS client, making it easy to swap lenses for different fields of view.

Where it is used
Standard C-mount compatibility makes this model well suited to flexible inspection stations that need lens changes or different fields of view: PCB surface inspection, assembly verification, and general-purpose high-resolution QC lines. Its 30 fps is enough for detailed imaging on medium-to-high throughput lines without becoming a bottleneck.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
