The MV-CB120-10UM-B V4 is a 12 MP monochrome camera in the CB Series USB3.0 board-level family. It runs the same Sony IMX226 sensor as the GigE model but at a higher 30 fps, 4032 × 3036 resolution. Its ‘Bare Board’ construction has no lens mount at all (Lens mount: None) — at just 32.5 × 32.5 × 1.6 mm and 10 g, this ultra-thin PCB is meant to be built, optics and all, straight into the customer’s own mechanical design and enclosure.
Power and data run over a single USB 3.0 connection (typ. 1.5 W @ 5 VDC), removing the need for a separate power supply. Two bi-directional non-isolated digital I/O lines (Line 2, Line 5) are available for triggering and synchronization. USB3 Vision and GenICam compliance means it is recognized directly by the MVS client or compliant third-party software; with no lens mount, integrators align optics straight onto the sensor to build a fully custom module.

Where it is used
The 12 MP / 30 fps combination suits detail-heavy embedded imaging: lab instruments, analyzers, or compact industrial products with a purpose-built imaging module built into the housing. The bare-board form factor is chosen specifically for space-constrained OEM designs where the camera’s footprint cannot dictate the end product’s shape.
