The MV-CB120-10UC-S V4 is the M12-mount color version in the CB Series USB3.0 family. Its Sony IMX226 sensor reaches 30 fps at 4032 × 3036 in Bayer RG 8 format; it shares the same 35 × 35 × 8.6 mm dimensions and 30 g weight as its C-mount color sibling, but uses the more compact M12 lens socket. As a board-level camera it has no housing — the PCB must be mounted directly into the customer’s own enclosure.
Power (typ. 2 W @ 5 VDC) and data run over a single USB 3.0 cable. Two bi-directional non-isolated I/O lines are available for triggering. The M12 mount offers a more compact optical solution than C-mount, suiting color imaging in compact designs; USB3 Vision/GenICam compliance ensures direct recognition by the MVS client.

Where it is used
Color imaging combined with the M12 lens makes this model suitable for compact color inspection or sorting devices where size is critical: small-scale product sorting systems, portable color-check equipment, or embedded label-reading modules. 30 fps still delivers smooth color imaging even in such compact systems.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
