This model pairs the color-Bayer Sony® IMX178 sensor with a standard C-mount lens interface, measuring 35×35×8.6 mm and weighing approx. 30 g; it reaches 60.9 fps at 3072×2048. The C-mount lets a wide range of industrial lenses be attached directly. With no housing, the board must be fixed into the customer’s enclosure via the PCB mounting holes.
It is powered from the USB3.0 line at typ. 1.8 W @ 5 VDC (slightly higher than the mono C-mount version due to color processing); two bi-directional I/O lines (Line 2, Line 5) support triggering and synchronization. The HDR function combines different exposure/gain settings for scenes with high contrast. USB3 Vision and GenICam compliance enable integration with compatible software including the MVS client.

Where it is used
The combination of C-mount interface and color sensor suits color quality control, label/print inspection and color-based sorting stations that need quick setup with standard lenses. The 60.9 fps rate is sufficient for counting and positioning color objects on medium-to-high-speed lines. HDR support helps maintain color accuracy on glossy packaging surfaces.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
