HIKROBOT MV-SC5120XC-00C-NNN — Smart Cameras & Vision Sensors

The MV-SC5120XC-00C-NNN is the color member of the SC5000X family, delivering 12 MP resolution (4096×2944) through a global-shutter CMOS sensor for fine image detail. Its C-Mount interface lets integrators fit external lenses matched to the working distance and field of view each station requires. The 1/1.1-inch optical format and 3.45 µm pixel size keep detail intact even across large or wide-format targets.

The camera runs on the VisionMaster (VM) platform, whose built-in deep-learning module executes on the sensor’s own 8 GB memory and 64 GB storage without needing a host PC for inference. Beyond Gigabit Ethernet, it speaks TCP, UDP, ModBus, RS-232, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Fins, MC and FTP, so it drops straight into existing factory networks and PLCs. Its 12-pin M12 connector carries 3 opto-isolated inputs and 3 opto-isolated outputs, keeping field wiring compact.

Where it is used

The combination of high resolution and colour capture suits single-shot inspection of large PCBs or panel surfaces, label and print quality checks, and wide-area code reading. Because it is C-Mount, the same body can be re-lensed for different magnification needs across stations rather than swapping the whole camera. It fits electronics assembly verification and logistics sorting tasks where a large field of view is the deciding factor.
