The Omron A22E-M is a 40 mm dia. push-lock / turn-reset emergency stop switch that mounts in a 22 mm panel cutout, or a 25 mm cutout using a ring. The NC contacts have a direct opening mechanism, so the circuit opens even if a contact welds. The minimum direct opening stroke is 11 mm and the minimum direct opening force 45 N. The switch is certified by TÜV SÜD to EN 60947-5-1 (certified direct opening) and EN 60947-5-5, and to UL508 and CCC. The screw-terminal switch blocks use M3.5 screws; up to three blocks can be mounted on non-lighted models.
Standard-load contacts have a rated carry current of 10 A; for inductive loads the AC15 rating is 3 A at 220 V AC and the DC13 rating 1.5 A at 24 V DC. Mechanical and electrical durability are 300,000 operations min. Non-lighted models operate from −20 to 70 °C and lighted models from −20 to 55 °C; protection is IP65, oil-resistant on non-lighted models. Surface-mounted -B models with an integrated control box and A22EL-M lighted models with a 24 V AC/DC LED are also available. A lock plate is supplied as standard so that the control box and switch are not easily separated.
