The MV-CA050-20UM is a mono USB3.0 area-scan camera built around a 1″ PYTHON5000 CMOS global-shutter sensor, delivering 5 MP images at 2592×2048. Within the CA series’ USB3.0 line, it is the fastest model in the 5 MP group, reaching 71.8 fps at full resolution. In HIKROBOT’s catalog this model is listed under ‘Delisting Preparation’ status.
The USB3.0 interface supplies power up to 12 VDC (typ. 3.5 W) without a separate power cable and remains backward-compatible with USB2.0. A 6-pin Hirose connector provides 1 opto-isolated input, 1 opto-isolated output and 1 bi-directional non-isolated I/O line, with hardware trigger, software trigger and free-run mode all supported. Its C-mount and compact 29×29×30 mm housing suit tight machine integrations, and M2 screw holes let the USB3.0 cable be secured in place. It is compatible with USB3 Vision and GenICam.

Where it is used

Mono imaging fits contrast- and edge-based measurement or inspection tasks.
