HIKROBOT MV-CA020-10UM — Area Scan Cameras
2 MP, Sony IMX430, USB3.0, Mono, 89.1 fps

Running the same 1624×1240 IMX430 sensor over USB3.0, the MV-CA020-10UM reaches 89.1 fps — the highest frame rate of the ten models covered here — with a mono output and a 75.4 dB dynamic range, also the family’s best. That pairing makes it the one to reach for when a scene has both low-light detail and strong highlights to resolve. HIKROBOT lists this series under Delisting Preparation.
Power is drawn from the USB3.0 bus itself (typ. 3.2 W @5 VDC), with 9–24 VDC external supply also available; the same 6-pin Hirose I/O set (one opto-isolated input, one output, one bi-directional line) carries over. M2 screw holes secure the USB3.0 cable, and hardware triggering, software triggering and free-run mode are all supported. USB3 Vision and GenICam compliance let it run under the MVS client or third-party machine-vision software; the body measures 29×29×30 mm at 80 g.

Where it is used
At 89.1 fps this camera is well suited to presence, position and counting checks on fast-moving lines, while the mono sensor and wide dynamic range help with edge and pattern detection in stations where lighting varies. Its compact USB3.0 body also fits easily onto robot end-effectors or space-constrained mounts.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
