The MV-CA017-10GC brings the mono version’s large-pixel (9 μm) IMX432 sensor and 68.5 fps rate to color output; the 72.44 dB dynamic range is preserved, and white balance can be adjusted manually or automatically. Power draw in the color variant is slightly higher at 4.8 W @ 12 VDC than the mono version. The model falls under ‘Delisting Preparation’ at HIKROBOT.

GigE connectivity keeps the same 100-meter relay-free reach and PoE power over the 6-pin Hirose connector as the mono model. High-sensitivity mode, high-full-well mode and 2D noise reduction remain active in color capture as well. GigE Vision V2.0 / GenICam compliance eases integration with third-party vision software.

Key features

  • Supports auto or manual adjustment for gain, exposure time, LUT, Gamma correction, white balance, etc.
  • Supports 2D noise reduction function.
  • Supports high sensitivity mode and high full well mode.
  • Adopts GigE interface and max. transmission distance of 100 meters without relay.
  • Compatible with GigE Vision V2.0 Protocol, GenICam Standard, and third-party software based on the protocol and standard.

Where it is used

The low-light sensitivity that comes with the large pixel, combined with color output, benefits inspection work needing color discrimination under dim lighting – such as printed packaging or painted surface checks. The 1.1″ sensor’s wide field of view allows larger objects to be assessed in color within a single frame. White balance adjustment helps maintain color consistency across different lighting color temperatures.

Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
