HIKROBOT MV-CA016-10UC — Area Scan Cameras

The MV-CA016-10UC delivers its mono sibling’s 249.1 fps rate and dual exposure structure (1-14 μs UltraShort / 15 μs-10 sec standard) with color output. Broad pixel-format support – Bayer RG, YUV and RGB among them – gives flexibility in downstream color processing. This model also carries ‘Delisting Preparation’ status at HIKROBOT.
Power draw of 2.8 W @ 5 VDC matches the mono version and is drawn from the USB3.0 line, with a 12 VDC external option also available. M2 screw holes secure the USB3.0 connector, adding reliability under vibration. USB3 Vision / GenICam compliance connects directly with MVS and third-party software.

Where it is used
High frame rate combined with color output suits applications needing both fast-motion capture and color-based sorting on quick lines – for example, color product classification on fast packaging lines. 1.6 MP resolution gives enough detail on mid-sized objects. Its compact, light (56 g) body eases integration onto moving platforms.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
