The MV-CE120-10UC is the color counterpart to the MV-CE120-10UM within the same CE Series USB3.0 family, sharing the 1/1.7″ Sony IMX226 sensor at 4000×3036 resolution with 40.5 dB SNR and 70.5 dB dynamic range. Its wide pixel-format support — Bayer RG, YUV422 and RGB8/BGR8 among others — lets it output color data directly rather than raw mono. This model is likewise marked ‘Delisting Preparation’ by HIKROBOT.
Interface and mechanics mirror the mono model: USB2.0-compatible USB3.0 connectivity, 9–24 VDC or USB3.0-line power (with a slightly higher typ. 3.42 W draw from color processing), the same I/O set on the 6-pin Hirose connector, and a C-mount lens interface. USB3 Vision and GenICam compliance let white-balance and color calibration be handled through the MVS client or third-party software.

Key features

Where it is used
The color 12 MP resolution suits inline applications where color discrimination matters, such as reading color-coded labels on products/packaging, color-based sorting of produce or textiles, and print/color-consistency inspection. The same 31.9 fps as the mono variant supports triggered single-frame acquisition for these tasks.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
