HIKROBOT MV-CE060-10UM — Area Scan Cameras
6 MP, Sony IMX178, USB3.0, Mono, 42.7 fps

MV-CE060-10UM is the mono model that brings the CE Series up to 6 MP with a Sony IMX178 rolling shutter sensor, reaching 42.7 fps at 3072×2048 while posting the highest signal quality in this lineup — 41.3 dB SNR and 71.3 dB dynamic range. A 2.4 μm pixel size on a 1/1.8″ format balances detail against speed. HIKROBOT lists this model as ‘Delisting Preparation’.
The USB3.0 (USB2.0-compatible) interface delivers power at 12 VDC, or directly from the USB3.0 bus, through the 6-pin Hirose connector, which also carries the I/O lines — one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output, one bidirectional line — on the same cable. M2 screw holes secure the cable connection. USB3 Vision and GenICam compliance work directly with the MVS client, with hardware trigger, software trigger, and free-run modes available.

Where it is used
The high 71.3 dB dynamic range combined with 6 MP detail makes this model stand out in scenes with difficult contrast — bright or reflective metal surface inspection, PCB solder and component checks, and fine surface-defect detection — wherever mono imaging is sufficient.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
