HIKROBOT MV-CE013-80UM — Area Scan Cameras
1.3 MP, CMOS SS Sensor, USB3.0, Mono, 148 fps

MV-CE013-80UM pairs the same 1.3 MP global shutter sensor with a USB3.0 interface, and the bandwidth advantage shows: it reaches 148 fps at 1280×1024, roughly 65% faster than its GigE mono sibling (MV-CE013-80GM), while holding the same 40 dB SNR and 60 dB dynamic range. HIKROBOT also lists this model as ‘Delisting Preparation’.
The USB3.0 (USB2.0-compatible) connection carries power and I/O through a 6-pin P7 connector — one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output, one bidirectional line — and the camera can run on 12 VDC or draw power directly from the USB3.0 bus, removing the need for a separate power cable in many setups. M2 screw holes secure the USB cable, and at 29×29×30 mm / 56 g the housing is more compact than the GigE variant. USB3 Vision and GenICam compliance let it work directly with the MVS client.

- Adopts M2 screw holes for securing cable that connects USB3.0 interface.
- Compatible with USB3 Vision Protocol, GenICam Standard, and the third-party software based on these protocol and standard.
Where it is used
Frame rates up to 148 fps make this the choice where GigE bandwidth would be the bottleneck for fast-moving objects — high-speed labeling, rapid part counting, or synchronized in-line inspection triggered at short intervals. Its compact housing also suits tight mounting spaces.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
