FCC appearing next to CE, RoHS and KC on the certification line is the first thing that sets the MV-CS200-RC apart within this 20 MP group; as the manufacturer’s table does not explain the RC suffix, no further interpretation is offered. The camera uses a 1-inch IMX183 rolling-shutter CMOS with 2.4 μm × 2.4 μm pixels to deliver 5472 × 3648 color frames in Bayer GB 8 at 19.2 fps over USB3.0. It belongs to the USB3.0 area scan group of the CS series and carries 41.5 dB SNR, 65.5 dB dynamic range, 0 to 24 dB gain and an exposure range of 44 μs to 0.83 s.
Its official feature list cites the new low-power design together with high sensitivity, wide dynamic range and low noise, and the numbers follow: a typical 2.3 W at 5 VDC when bus-powered over USB3.0 (USB2.0 compatible), or 9 to 24 VDC from an external input. Formats available on the link are Bayer GB 8/10/10Packed/12/12Packed, YUV422_YUYV_Packed, YUV 422 Packed, RGB 8, BGR 8 and Mono 8/10/12.
