HIKROBOT MV-CS200-10UC V5 — Area Scan Cameras
20 MP, Sony® IMX183, USB3.0, Color, 19.2 fps

Integration is the starting point for the MV-CS200-10UC V5: its official feature list enumerates hardware trigger (differential encoder), software trigger and free run, user ROI with horizontal/vertical mirroring, and auto or manual control of gain, exposure, white balance, Gamma and LUT. Underneath sits the 1-inch Sony® IMX183 rolling-shutter CMOS with 2.4 μm × 2.4 μm pixels, producing 5472 × 3648 Bayer GB 8 frames at 19.2 fps with exposure adjustable from 14 μs to 0.86 seconds. Carrying the V5 designation in the CS series 20 MP color USB3.0 line, it offers 41.5 dB SNR and 65.5 dB dynamic range.
The camera can be bus-powered from USB3.0 (USB2.0 compatible) and draws a typical 1.7 W at 5 VDC; a 9 to 24 VDC external supply is also specified. Color data is delivered as raw Bayer GB 8/10/10Packed/12/12Packed or as YUV422Packed, YUV422_YUYV_Packed, RGB 8 and BGR 8, with a Mono 8 output available too. Encoder and PLC wiring goes through Line 0 (opto-isolated input), Line 1 (opto-isolated output) and Line 2 (bi-directional non-isolated) on the 6-pin P7 connector; the 29 mm × 29 mm × 30 mm C-mount body of about 80 g is IP40 rated, works from –30 °C to 60 °C and complies with USB3 Vision and GenICam.

Key features
- Supports auto or manual adjustment of gain, exposure time, white balance, Gamma, and LUT correction, etc.
- Supports customer ROI, horizontal mirroring, and vertical mirroring.
- Supports software trigger, hardware trigger (differential encoder), and free run mode.
- Compatible with USB3 Vision Protocol, GenICam Standard, and the third-party software based on the protocol and standard.
- Compact design with mounting holes on panels for flexible mounting from 4 sides.
Where it is used
Encoder-synchronized color capture pays off in continuous scanning of large moving surfaces: pattern continuity on veneered wood and laminate panels, color and print faults on fabric rolls, shade matching across ceramic and natural-stone slabs. A window narrowed with ROI allows a higher frame rate for tasks such as label positioning or sorting color-coded parts. The low 1.7 W consumption supports multi-station cabinet solutions where several USB cameras run from a single PC.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
