HIKROBOT MV-CS200-10GC V5 — Area Scan Cameras
20 MP, Sony® IMX183, GigE, Color, 5.9 fps

Designed for jobs where color fidelity has to coexist with 20 MP detail, the MV-CS200-10GC V5 is the V5-designated color member on the GigE side of the CS series small and medium resolution family. Its Sony® IMX183 rolling-shutter CMOS sensor (1 inch, 2.4 μm × 2.4 μm pixels) produces 5472 × 3648 frames in Bayer RG 8 at 5.9 fps, and a 41.5 dB SNR with 65.5 dB dynamic range preserves tonal transitions even on saturated surfaces. Because CCM (color correction matrix) and LSC (lens shading correction) ISP functions and auto or manual white balance run in the camera itself, color consistency does not have to be reconstructed on the host.
Color data can be streamed as raw Bayer RG 8/10/10Packed/12/12Packed or already converted to YUV422Packed, YUV422_YUYV_Packed, RGB 8 or BGR 8, which lets the integrator trade host-side debayering against link bandwidth; a Mono 8 output is available as well. On the link side, Gigabit Ethernet means up to 100 meters of cable without a relay and PoE means a single cable for power, while Line 0 (opto-isolated input), Line 1 (opto-isolated output) and Line 2 (bi-directional) on the 6-pin P7 connector handle triggering and strobe synchronization. At 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm, roughly 100 g and a typical 1.5 W at 12 VDC, this GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliant C-mount camera operates from –30 °C to 60 °C.

- Compact design with mounting holes on panels for flexible mounting from 4 sides.
- Adopts GigE interface and max. transmission distance of 100 meters without relay.
- Compatible with GigE Vision V2.0 Protocol, GenICam Standard, and third-party software based on the protocol and standard.
Where it is used
It earns its place where color and high resolution are needed at once: color-shift and registration checks on printed packaging and labels, pattern and stain detection on textile and leather surfaces, shade grading of ceramic tiles and wood panels. The 5.9 fps rate is adequate for products that pause or move slowly on the belt, and seeing the whole surface in one frame avoids stitched multi-camera arrays. Ripeness and color grading of food and agricultural produce also benefit from the sensor’s wide dynamic range.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
