HIKROBOT MV-CS060-10GC — Area Scan Cameras

For applications that need color at 6 MP, the MV-CS060-10GC pairs the Sony® IMX178 rolling shutter CMOS sensor with a Bayer RG filter behind a GigE interface. It is the Basic color option in the CS series small and medium resolution family, streaming 3072 × 2048 frames at 19.1 fps while holding a 41.3 dB SNR. Beyond raw Bayer data, YUV422 and RGB 8 / BGR 8 outputs can be generated in-camera, and ISP functions such as CCM support color accuracy.
Color data travels over the GigE link for up to 100 meters without a repeater, and the camera also runs on Fast Ethernet networks. PoE support enables single-cable installation, while the 6-pin Hirose connector provides both the 9–24 VDC supply and three I/O lines (opto-isolated input, opto-isolated output and a bi-directional non-isolated line); typical consumption is 2.5 W at 12 VDC. The C-mount housing measures 29 × 29 × 42 mm, weighs about 100 g, is rated IP40 and connects to standard machine vision software through GigE Vision V2.0 / GenICam compliance.

Where it is used
Color information makes this model suitable for wire and connector color-sequence checks, print and label verification on pharmaceutical and food packaging, and shade classification on textile and wood surfaces. The 6 MP resolution covers a large packaging face or several small products in a single shot. A 19.1 fps frame rate is sufficient for color-based sorting of products moving on a conveyor in stop-and-go or moderate continuous flow.
