The MV-CS050-10UC V5 brings the V5 platform’s higher frame rate to color: 74 fps at full 2448 × 2048 in Bayer RG 8 from the Sony IMX264 global-shutter CMOS. It sits in the CS series’ small and medium resolution family as a 5 MP USB3.0 color camera with 39.9 dB SNR, 71.4 dB dynamic range and a 2/3″ sensor with 3.45 μm pixels. Output can be delivered as Bayer, YUV422 or RGB 8/BGR 8 formats directly from the camera.
Integration follows the USB3.0 model: one cable for data and bus power, with typical consumption of only 1.8 W at 5 VDC, and fallback compatibility with USB2.0. The 6-pin P7 connector accepts 9–24 VDC as an alternative supply and exposes Line 0 (opto-isolated input), Line 1 (opto-isolated output) and Line 2 (bi-directional, non-isolated) for hardware or software triggering and anyway mode. White balance, gain, exposure, LUT and Gamma correction can be automated or fixed manually; the 29 × 29 × 30 mm body with four-sided mounting holes complies with USB3 Vision and GenICam.

Where it is used
Fast color acquisition at 5 MP makes this camera a fit for color-based sorting on high-speed conveyors, verification of printed packaging and labels, and cosmetic inspection of consumer goods where surface tint or coating uniformity matters. Sequencer support allows alternating exposure or gain settings frame by frame, which is useful for multi-condition capture in a single pass.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
