HIKROBOT MV-CS032-60GC V5 — Area Scan Cameras

MV-CS032-60GC V5 is the color GigE member of the CS series’ 3.2 MP class, built on a stacked BSI global-shutter sensor. Its 1/1.8-inch sensor with 3.45 μm pixels delivers 2048 × 1536 at 38.9 fps in Bayer GR 8, while 42.4 dB SNR and a 73.9 dB dynamic range let it hold highlights and shadows in the same frame. Gain and exposure operate in two selectable modes: full-well (0–12.8 dB, from 30 μs) and high-sensitivity (0–24 dB, from 5 μs).
The Gigabit Ethernet interface allows up to 100 m of cable without a repeater and stays backward compatible with Fast Ethernet; power comes from 9–24 VDC or PoE, with a typical draw of 1.7 W at 12 VDC. The 6-pin P7 connector carries one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional line, and the 29 × 29 × 42 mm housing offers mounting holes on four sides. GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam compliance, together with ISP functions such as CCM, Super Palette and Super Bayer, make it directly usable in third-party software.

Where it is used
The wide dynamic range and color processing suit packaging and assembly checks where shiny metal surfaces and dark labels appear together. With 3.2 MP and roughly 39 fps it offers a balanced point for color sorting, print-quality inspection and presence/position verification on medium-speed lines.
