The MV-CS020-60UC V5 is the USB3.0 camera that offers 180 fps color imaging in the 2 MP class. Its Stacked BSI global shutter CMOS sensor works at 1624 × 1240 in Bayer GB 8, and with 44.2 dB SNR and 67.8 dB dynamic range it posts the highest dynamic range in this group. It represents the top of the color speed range in the small and medium resolution CS series, and its 3.45 μm pixels and 1/2.53-inch format pair with compact optics.
Output can be taken as raw Bayer GB 8/10/12 or as YUV422 and RGB 8 / BGR 8, with white balance, Gamma correction, contrast ratio and sequencer functions running on the camera. The USB3.0 port carries data and power together (typically 1.6 W at 5 VDC) and is compatible with USB2.0; a 9–24 VDC external supply is supported too. The 29 × 29 × 30 mm, roughly 85 g body mounts from four sides, and the P7 connector holds the opto-isolated input/output and the bi-directional I/O. The camera complies with USB3.0 Vision and GenICam.

Where it is used
Jobs that demand a color decision at high speed — sorting colored caps and closures, verifying print color and labels on fast packaging lines, color grading bulk goods such as plastic pellets or seeds — are this camera’s territory. At 180 fps it captures several frames of a fast-flowing product, allowing a reliable decision. The compact USB body also suits mounting on a moving axis and laptop-based portable inspection systems.
