The Telemecanique XSDA400519 is an AC-supplied inductive proximity sensor from the XSD series in form 80×80×40 mm with a plastic enclosure. The sensing face sits on a 5-position turret head, so the detection direction can be chosen to suit the installation. It is non-flush mountable with a nominal sensing distance of 40 mm. The function of the 2-wire AC output is programmable as one normally open or one normally closed (1 NO or 1 NC). The switching frequency reaches 10 Hz.
The data sheet characteristics table gives the rated supply voltage as 12–240 V AC. Electrical connection is made to screw-clamp terminals; the cable enters through a single tapped entry for a Pg 13.5 cable gland. Dimensions are 80 mm wide, 100 mm high and 40 mm deep, and the net weight is 0.48 kg. The enclosure and sensing face are plastic. The degree of protection is IP67 and the operating temperature range is -25 °C to +70 °C. The product has CCC certification.
