Omron D4SL-N is a guard lock safety-door switch that offers a wide range of models for the safe monitoring of guard entries and positions. Built-in switches with four, five and six contacts are available, and wiring is done via a terminal block or a connector, both with one-touch attachment and removal. The key holding force is 1,300 N. The operation key insertion point can be changed without detaching the head, and the solenoids can be driven directly from the controller. A release key and an indicator are also provided on the back of the switch.
According to the datasheet, D4SL-N is a Type 2 interlocking device to EN ISO 14119 with low level coding and IP67 protection. The lock is either mechanical lock / 24 VDC solenoid release or 24 VDC solenoid lock / mechanical release. When switched on, the solenoid draws a starting current for approx. 10 seconds and then changes to a constant current; the constant consumption averages approx. 2.6 W. Mechanical durability is 1,000,000 operations min. and electrical durability 150,000 operations min. at 1 A resistive load, 125 VAC. The operating temperature is -10 to 55 °C.
