HIKROBOT MV-CT2MG0050/G/16LC/WN — Area Scan Cameras

The HIKROBOT MV-CT2MG0050/G/16LC/WN is the GigE MAX model of the third-generation CT series area scan camera family. Its 2/3″ global shutter stacked BSI CMOS sensor, with a 3.45 µm pixel size, produces 2448 × 2048 resolution (5.0 MP) mono images, reaching 24.5 fps in standard mode and up to 59.2 fps with lossless compression enabled. A 73.9 dB dynamic range and 42.4 dB signal-to-noise ratio deliver high image quality. Gain ranges from 0-12.8 dB in high full-well mode to 0-24 dB in high sensitivity mode, with exposure time correspondingly ranging from 30 µs-10 s to 5 µs-10 s. This dual-mode design provides flexibility for applications requiring either wide dynamic range or low-light sensitivity.

Data is transferred over a 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet interface, compatible with 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet, via an 8-pin M12 X-Code waterproof connector; a separate 8-pin M12 A-Code waterproof connector carries control signals. Powered from 9-24 VDC and PoE-capable, it typically draws 1.6 W at 24 VDC. The 42 × 42 × 43 mm body, weighing approximately 113 g, reaches IP67 protection when the lens, housing and cables are correctly installed, and can operate between -30 °C and 60 °C. Support for GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam simplifies integration with various machine vision software. This SKU comes with a 16 mm liquid lens and white base light source integrated at the C-Mount interface, an integrated optic/light package that delivers a ready-to-use imaging solution with simplified setup.
