HIKROBOT MV-CT2CG0120/G/NN/NN — Area Scan Cameras

The HIKROBOT MV-CT2CG0120/G/NN/NN is the GigE MAX variant of the third-generation CT series area scan camera family. Its 1.1″ global shutter stacked BSI CMOS sensor, with a 3.45 µm pixel size, delivers 4096 × 3000 resolution (12.0 MP) color images at up to 9.9 fps in standard mode, rising to 23.9 fps with lossless compression enabled. A 67.2 dB dynamic range and 44.2 dB signal-to-noise ratio, combined with a 0-12 dB gain range, preserve image detail under varying lighting conditions. Exposure time is adjustable from 10-19 µs in ultra-short exposure mode to 20 µs-10 s in standard mode, giving flexibility for both fast-moving targets and low-light scenes.

The camera transfers data over a 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet interface, compatible with 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet, through an 8-pin M12 X-Code waterproof connector. A separate 8-pin M12 A-Code waterproof connector carries control signals such as triggering and I/O. Powered from 9-24 VDC and PoE-capable, it typically draws 2 W at 24 VDC. With a compact 42 × 42 × 43 mm body and a weight of approximately 120 g, the camera reaches IP67 protection when the lens, housing and cables are correctly installed, and operates from -30 °C to 60 °C. Compliance with GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam ensures smooth integration with third-party machine vision software, while the standard C-Mount lens interface allows different optics to be fitted as the application requires.
