HIKROBOT MV-SC2004EM-06S-WBN-Mini — Smart Cameras & Vision Sensors

The HIKROBOT MV-SC2004EM-06S-WBN-Mini is a monochrome imaging model in the SC2000E Mini series of vision sensors. Its 1/2.9″ optical format, global shutter CMOS sensor with 6.9 µm × 6.9 µm pixels delivers 704 × 540 resolution at up to 60 fps. Gain is adjustable from 0 dB to 15 dB and exposure time from 16 µs to 1 s, supporting clear imaging both in low light and with fast-moving objects. Images are output in Mono 8 pixel format. With its Mini body, this model ships with a 6.72 mm, M10-mount manual-focus lens and a 4-white-LED light panel; at 46 mm × 38 mm × 25 mm and approximately 160 g, it is smaller and lighter than the standard SC2000E body. An IP65 protection rating and a 0 °C to 50 °C operating range make it suitable for industrial environments, and it carries CE and KC certification.

The MV-SC2004EM-06S-WBN-Mini offers a rich vision-tool library spanning counting, presence/absence detection, positioning and logic functions — including blob, edge, pattern and contour counting, circle/line/blob/edge/pattern/contour presence checks, position correction, and conditional/logical decision tools. Program import/export is supported, with storage for up to 8 programs and 40 modules. Communication protocols include RS-232, TCP, UDP, FTP, PROFINET, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, FINS, MELSEC/SLMP and Keyence KV, over a 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet data interface. A 17-pin M12 connector combines power, network and I/O signals in a single connection, providing one input (LINE2), one output (LINE3), two configurable bidirectional I/O lines (LINE0/LINE1), one RS-232 serial port and one external button connection. Power input is 12–24 VDC; thanks to the Mini body, consumption is lower than the standard model at an average of 4 W and a maximum of 11 W at 24 VDC.

Multi-protocol communication support enables direct integration with PLC and SCADA systems.
