HIKROBOT MV-SC2004EC-15S-WBN — Smart Cameras & Vision Sensors

The HIKROBOT MV-SC2004EC-15S-WBN is a color imaging model in the SC2000E series of vision sensors. Its 1/2.9″ optical format, global shutter CMOS sensor with 6.9 µm × 6.9 µm pixels delivers 704 × 540 resolution at up to 60 fps. Gain is adjustable from 0 dB to 15 dB and exposure time from 16 µs to 1 s, supporting clear imaging both in low light and with fast-moving objects. Images can be output in Mono 8 or RGB 8 pixel format. The unit ships with a 14.8 mm, M12-mount manual-focus lens and a white light source; its compact 46 mm × 57.6 mm × 25 mm body weighs approximately 220 g. An IP65 protection rating and a 0 °C to 50 °C operating range make it suitable for industrial environments, and it carries CE and KC certification.

Capable of Mono 8 and RGB 8 pixel formats, the camera carries vision tools such as blob analysis, color matching, edge finding and OCR, and its storage for up to 8 programs and 40 modules allows fast switching between product variants. As the longest focal length in the color series at 14.8 mm, it provides the narrowest field of view and the longest working distance, an advantage where the camera must sit farther from the part or where small color details need close inspection. Communication runs over RS-232, TCP, UDP, FTP, PROFINET, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, FINS, MELSEC/SLMP and Keyence KV, with the data interface provided by 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet. An integrated white light source, 46 × 57.6 × 25 mm dimensions, roughly 220 g weight and IP65 protection support industrial use.
