The HIKROBOT MV-SC2004EC-12S-WBN is a color imaging model in the SC2000E series of vision sensors. Its 1/2.9″ optical format, global shutter CMOS sensor with 6.9 µm × 6.9 µm pixels delivers 704 × 540 resolution at up to 60 fps. Gain is adjustable from 0 dB to 15 dB and exposure time from 16 µs to 1 s, supporting clear imaging both in low light and with fast-moving objects. Images can be output in Mono 8 or RGB 8 pixel format. The unit ships with a 12.4 mm, M12-mount manual-focus lens and a white light source; its compact 46 mm × 57.6 mm × 25 mm body weighs approximately 220 g. An IP65 protection rating and a 0 °C to 50 °C operating range make it suitable for industrial environments, and it carries CE and KC certification.

This model processes both Mono 8 and RGB 8 pixel formats, enabling grayscale and color inspection alike, and carries vision tools including blob analysis, color/pattern matching and OCR with storage for up to 8 programs and 40 modules. Its 12.4 mm focal length gives a narrower field of view and longer working distance than the 8 mm variant, positioning it as the mid-range option in the color series and making it suitable for stations that need detailed color inspection from a moderate distance. Connectivity is provided through RS-232, TCP, UDP, FTP, PROFINET, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, FINS, MELSEC/SLMP and Keyence KV protocols, with data carried over a 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet interface.
