Panasonic AMG883543 is the 3.3 V ± 0.3 V model of the Grid-EYE wide angle type. It offers a viewing angle of typ. 90° horizontally and vertically, with an optical axis gap within typ. ±10°. The 64-pixel (8 × 8) thermopile array measures the temperature distribution of a wide area without contact and outputs each pixel temperature value digitally over I²C. The measuring object temperature range is 0 °C to 80 °C.

Temperature accuracy is defined as typ. ±2.5 °C for the average value of all pixels. The noise equivalent temperature difference, calculated from the 4 central pixels, is 0.09 °C at 1 fps and 0.27 °C at 10 fps. The sensor draws typ. 4.5 mA in normal mode and 0.2 mA in sleep mode. Operating temperature range is 0–80 °C and storage temperature range is −20 °C to 80 °C. The package is an 11.6 × 8.0 × 4.76 mm surface-mount type.
