The Panasonic SF-C10 series consists of exclusive control units for safety light curtains and shortens setup time for safety circuits. The SF-C11 plugs into the SF4D light curtain with an 8-core connector cable; the muting function cannot be used. The SF-C13 is a slim type only 22.5 mm thick that connects to Panasonic light curtains by discrete wire cable, and the muting function can be used. Both models are compatible up to Category 4 and support presses used in Japan together with SF4D-□-01. One model is set to match PNP or NPN light curtain output.
The safety output is three NO contacts (13-14, 23-24, 33-34); contacts are AgSnO, self-cleaning and positively driven. The SF-C11 is rated 30 V DC / 6 A and 230 V AC / 6 A, the SF-C13 30 V DC / 4 A and 230 V AC / 4 A. Response time is 10 ms or less; mechanical life is min. 10,000,000 and electrical life min. 100,000 operations. External relay monitoring and trailing edge functions are built in. The electronic fuse trips at 0.5 A and resets after power down. The enclosure is ABS, protection IP40 and terminals IP20.
