The Telemecanique XY2CH is a latching emergency stop rope pull switch from the XY2C range. It works with a single trigger cable up to 30 m long, which can be anchored on the right-hand or left-hand side. Distance between cable supports is 5 m. When tripped, the switch latches and is reset by a booted push-button. The XY2CH13250 has 1 NC + 1 NO and the XY2CH13270 2 NC slow-break contacts, with positive opening to EN/IEC 60947-5-1. With appropriate monitoring and correct wiring it can reach category 4, PL e (EN/ISO 13849-1) and SIL 3 (EN/IEC 61508).
The body is Zamak and the cover stainless steel; housing colour is red RAL 3000. There are three tapped entries for Pg 13.5 cable glands. Rated operational current is 3 A at 240 V in AC-15 and 0.27 A at 250 V in DC-13; thermal current is 10 A. Mechanical durability is 800,000 cycles and B10d is 4,000,000 to IEC 60947-5-5 for a 20-year life time. Net weight is 0.865 kg. Operating temperature is -25 to +70 °C, degree of protection IP65. It conforms to EN/ISO 13850 and EN/IEC 60947-5-5; UL (NISD) and CCC certified.
