XGST2020 is the 13.56 MHz portable RFID diagnostic terminal of the Telemecanique OsiSense XG range; XGST2422 is the set supplying the terminal with its accessories in a plastic case. The terminal is used for direct reading/writing of RFID tags for set-up and maintenance, and for diagnostics on compact smart antennas. It has an ARM7 processor and a 54 × 95 mm, 480 × 272 pixel OLED colour touchscreen, 2 GB Compact Flash internal storage and 256 kB RAM. The RFID reader, ordered separately, is the XGCS4901201 compact smart antenna mounted on the back of the terminal via RS485.
The terminal is powered by a 3.7 V internal lithium-ion battery or a 5 V DC external adaptor; autonomy is 8 h. A USB memory stick (up to 2 GB) backs up mappings. The catalogue states that the terminal stores up to 256 user mappings (each with up to 256 variables) and offers read/write words, tag copy, tag initialization, tag presence test and tag identification functions. Operating temperature is 0 to +45 °C, storage temperature -20 to +45 °C, relative humidity 5–95 % and degree of protection IP40. The terminal weighs 0.295 kg, the set 1 kg.
