The short focal length suits stations where the camera sits close to the target and needs a wide field of view. Motorized mechanical focus lets the fine-tuning happen from software after the unit is mounted, rather than by hand.

With the built-in light active, power draw runs at a typical 12.3 W and can reach up to 48 W at maximum output, reflecting how much the illumination itself is being driven.
