The HIKROBOT MV-SC2016EC-08S-WBN is the color model within the third-generation SC2000E family of vision sensors. Its global shutter CMOS sensor, with a 1/2.9″ optical format and a 3.45 µm × 3.45 µm pixel size, delivers 1408 × 1024 resolution images and reaches frame rates of up to 60 fps. A gain range of 0 dB to 15 dB and an exposure time of 16 µs to 1 s let it adapt to varying lighting conditions and motion speeds. It supports Mono 8 and RGB 8 pixel formats. Its M12-mount, manually focused 8 mm lens provides a field of view suited to mid-range applications, while the integrated white light source delivers homogeneous illumination without a separate lighting unit. Its compact IP65-rated body, measuring 46 mm × 57.6 mm × 25 mm and weighing approximately 220 g, fits easily into confined mounting spaces.

Supporting both Mono 8 and RGB 8 pixel formats, this color model can be used for quality checks that require color discrimination, such as verifying label color or component color coding; the device stores up to 8 plans and 40 modules, with import/export support. PLC/SCADA integration is provided via RS-232, TCP, UDP, FTP, PROFINET, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, FINS, MELSEC/SLMP and Keyence KV, with data carried over a 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet link.
