HIKROBOT MV-SC2004EM-15S-WBN — Smart Cameras & Vision Sensors

The HIKROBOT MV-SC2004EM-15S-WBN is a monochrome imaging model in the SC2000E series of vision sensors. Its 1/2.9″ optical format, global shutter CMOS sensor with 6.9 µm × 6.9 µm pixels delivers 704 × 540 resolution at up to 60 fps. Gain is adjustable from 0 dB to 15 dB and exposure time from 16 µs to 1 s, supporting clear imaging both in low light and with fast-moving objects. Images are output in Mono 8 pixel format. The unit ships with a 14.8 mm, M12-mount manual-focus lens and a white light source; its compact 46 mm × 57.6 mm × 25 mm body weighs approximately 220 g. An IP65 protection rating and a 0 °C to 50 °C operating range make it suitable for industrial environments, and it carries CE and KC certification.

Vision tools such as blob analysis, edge finding, pattern matching and OCR run directly on the device, and storage for up to 8 programs and 40 modules allows quick program changeovers when the line switches products. At 14.8 mm, this variant has the narrowest field of view and the longest working distance in the mono series, an advantage where the camera must be mounted away from the part or where small details need closer, magnified inspection. Communication runs over RS-232, TCP, UDP, FTP, PROFINET, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, FINS, MELSEC/SLMP and Keyence KV, with data carried across a 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet interface. An integrated white light source, a 46 × 57.6 × 25 mm body weighing about 220 g, and IP65 protection make it suitable for demanding environments.

It stands out in applications that demand precise inspection at distance without moving the camera closer to the line.
