HIKROBOT MV-CB020-60UM-C — Area Scan Cameras
2 MP, Stacked BSI CMOS, USB3.0, Mono, C-mount, 179.9 fps

The MV-CB020-60UM-C is a mono, C-mount camera in the USB3.0 board-level branch of the CB Series. Its Stacked BSI CMOS global-shutter sensor delivers 1624×1240 resolution at up to 179.9 fps, with 3.45 μm pixels, a 1/2.53″ optical format, 44.1 dB SNR and 68.6 dB dynamic range. Unlike its color siblings on this sheet, it outputs only Mono 8/10/10Packed/12/12Packed pixel formats; the built-in C-mount lets standard industrial lenses be screwed straight onto the board, which weighs approximately 30 g.
USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible) carries both data and power over one cable, with a typical draw of 1.5 W at 5 VDC — the lowest of the three models on this sheet. Two bidirectional, non-isolated digital I/O lines (Line 2, Line 5) are available for trigger and synchronization, while gain (0–24 dB) and exposure (23 μs–10 sec) can be set automatically or manually. The C-mount makes lens swaps straightforward, and the camera is directly compatible with USB3 Vision/GenICam software such as the MVS client.

Key features
- Supports auto and manual adjustment for gain, exposure control, white balance, LUT, etc.
- Adopts image interpolation algorithm for color camera to have better color correction.
- Power supply and data transmission via USB3.0 interface.
- Compatible with USB3 Vision Protocol, GenICam standard, and the third-party software based on these protocol and standard.
Where it is used
Mono output paired with a standard C-mount suits high-speed lines where contrast and edge detail matter more than color — presence/position checks, dimensional or edge-based measurement, and barcode/2D-code reading on fast-moving parts. With speeds up to 179.9 fps, it is also a fit for counting or triggering scenarios on rapid conveyors.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
