The MV-CB020-60UC-S is the 2 MP color, M12-mount model in the CB Series. Its global-shutter Stacked BSI sensor reaches 179.9 fps at 1624 × 1240 in Bayer GB 8 format — the same high speed as its mono sibling. The M12 lens socket offers a compact optical solution, but the board itself has no housing, and this 30 g PCB must be mounted into the customer’s own enclosure.
USB 3.0 supplies both power (typ. 1.6 W @ 5 VDC) and data, and is also backward-compatible with USB 2.0. Two bi-directional non-isolated I/O lines support high-speed triggering. The color sensor offers a wide range of pixel formats — Bayer GB, YUV422, RGB8/BGR8; the M12 lens’s compact form is an advantage in designs where high-speed color imaging must fit into a small housing.

Where it is used
Combining 179.9 fps global-shutter speed with color imaging suits high-speed, color-based sorting and inspection: fast-line color product sorting, print/label color checks, or rapid color sorting of items such as fruit and vegetables. The compact M12 lens lets this performance be built into small-scale sorting systems.
