Using the same Sony® IMX178 mono sensor and USB3.0 interface, this model differs from its bare-board sibling by coming with a standard C-mount lens interface, giving a 35×35×8.6 mm board-level camera that is directly compatible with the industrial C-mount lens ecosystem. It reaches 60.9 fps at 3072×2048. With no housing, the board must be fixed into the customer’s enclosure via the PCB mounting holes, but the C-mount interface removes the need to design a separate lens adapter.
It is powered from the USB3.0 line at typ. 1.5 W with no external power supply required; two bi-directional, non-isolated I/O lines (Line 2, Line 5) support hardware/software triggering and free-run mode. The HDR function combines different exposure and gain settings to reduce detail loss in high-contrast scenes. USB3 Vision and GenICam compliance ensure smooth integration with the MVS client and compatible third-party software.

Where it is used
The standard C-mount interface makes it a natural fit for general-purpose machine-vision stations (measurement, defect detection, assembly verification) that need quick integration with a wide range of industrial lenses. The mono sensor and 60.9 fps rate are effective for contrast-based, high-speed inline inspection. HDR support helps preserve image quality on stations with reflective surfaces or variable lighting.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
