HIKROBOT MV-CU013-A1GC — Area Scan Cameras
1.3 MP, 1/2″ CMOS, GigE, Color, 90 fps

MV-CU013-A1GC is a 1.3 MP color GigE camera in the CU series that stands out for what it can output: besides Bayer GB 8/10/10Packed/12/12Packed it delivers YUV422Packed, YUV422_YUYV_Packed, RGB 8 and BGR 8, plus Mono 8/10/12, so demosaicing can stay on the camera. The 1/2″ global-shutter CMOS with 4.8 μm pixels runs 1280 × 1024 at 90 fps in Bayer GB 8, with 40.3 dB SNR, 54.2 dB dynamic range and gain adjustable to 16.4 dB. Exposure spans 58 μs to 10 s, and the feature list adds a Sequencer and multiple ISP functions.
Delivering RGB 8 or YUV over the 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet link (100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet compatible, 100 m without relay) lets a modest host PC or embedded controller consume ready-to-use color frames, at a typical power cost of 2.2 W at 12 VDC. The Sequencer steps through parameter sets frame by frame — useful with the hardware trigger on opto-isolated Line 0 — while Line 1 (opto-isolated output) and Line 2 (bidirectional) on the same 6-pin P7 connector drive lights or acknowledge a PLC; power is 9–24 VDC or optional PoE. Housing, mount and standards match the rest of the GigE CU range: 29 × 29 × 42 mm, ~100 g, C-mount, IP30 with lens, GigE Vision V2.0 and GenICam.

Where it is used
The Sequencer makes this model a natural choice where one part must be captured under several lighting or exposure settings in quick succession — for example a printed carton photographed once for color registration and once for embossing, or a metal part under bright-field and dark-field. Direct RGB or YUV output suits compact vision PCs and embedded systems doing color sorting, packaging verification or cosmetics checks without a demosaicing stage. The 58 μs minimum exposure is adequate for typical conveyor speeds under continuous LED lighting.
Suitability depends on working distance, field of view, target characteristics and positioning. Selection is assessed on a per-project basis.
