AMG885543 is the version of the Panasonic Grid-EYE wide angle type powered from 5.0 V ± 0.5 V; the absolute maximum applied voltage is 6.5 V. With a typ. 90° horizontal and vertical viewing angle, the 8 × 8 = 64-pixel thermopile array detects the temperature distribution over a wide area without contact. Object temperatures from 0 °C to 80 °C are measured and each pixel value is read digitally over the I²C interface with 0.25 °C resolution.

Average temperature accuracy over all pixels is typ. ±2.5 °C and the optical axis gap is within typ. ±10°. The noise equivalent temperature difference is 0.27 °C at 10 fps and 0.09 °C at 1 fps. Communication is enabled typ. 50 ms after setup and the output stabilizes in typ. 15 s. Static electricity resistance is ±1 kV in the human body model. Operating temperature range is 0–80 °C; the 11.6 × 8.0 × 4.76 mm package is supplied with 1000 pieces per reel.
