HL-G103 is a compact laser displacement sensor from Panasonic’s HL-G1 series: the amplifier is built into the sensor head, it measures the distance to the target at micron level by triangulation with a CMOS image sensor, shows the value on a 5-digit display and outputs it via analog output and three judgment outputs. Measurement center distance 30 mm, measurement range ±4 mm. Resolution: 0.5 μm. Linearity: ±0.1 % F.S. Light source: Red semiconductor laser, Class 2 (IEC / EN / JIS / GB / KS), max. output 1 mW, 655 nm.
Sampling: 200 μs / 500 μs / 1 ms / 2 ms. Outputs: NPN / PNP open-collector (selectable), max. 50 mA. Analog voltage output: 0…+10.5 V. Analog current output: 3.2…20.8 mA. Supply: 24 V DC ±10 % including 0.5 V ripple (P-P). Degree of protection: IP67 (IEC). Ambient temperature: −10 to +45 °C (no condensation). The HL-G103A-… versions are a separate Class 1 laser head (center 26.3 mm ±2 mm).
