Displacement Sensors

Panasonic laser displacement, contact-type digital, thru-beam measurement, eddy current and collimated beam sensors: micron-level measurement of distance, thickness, height, position and diameter.

Precision distance measurement sensors measure an object’s position and dimensions numerically rather than just its presence. Laser displacement sensors measure without contact from the surface that reflects the light; contact-type digital sensors touch the part with a probe and measure regardless of glossy, transparent or dark surfaces; thru-beam and collimated beam sensors find edges, diameters and widths from the interrupted part of the beam; eddy current sensors measure the distance to a metal target unaffected by oil and dirt. Panasonic’s current measurement series are listed below, each model with its own page.
