CX-493 is the long-range retroreflective model of Panasonic’s CX-400 Ver.2 series; emitter and receiver share one housing, the beam returns from the opposite reflector, and an RF-230 reflector is supplied. Sensing range: 5 m. Sensing object: Ø50 mm or more opaque or translucent object. Emitting element: red LED.
Output: NPN open-collector transistor; switchable either Light-ON or Dark-ON. Response time: 1 ms or less. Supply: 12 to 24 V DC ±10 %, ripple P-P 10 % or less. Degree of protection IP67, operating temperature −25 to +55 °C. Connection: 0.2 mm² 3-core cabtyre cable, 2 m.
