EX-43 is a convergent reflective model of Panasonic’s EX-40 series: the emitter and receiver beams intersect at a set point, so only objects in that zone are detected and background influence is small. Sensing range: 20 to 35 mm (convergent point: 30 mm). Sensing object: Ø0.03 mm gold wire (setting distance: 30 mm). Emitting element: red LED, 680 nm (modulated).
Output: NPN open-collector transistor; Light-ON. Response time: 0.5 ms or less. Supply: 12 to 24 V DC ±10 %, ripple P-P 10 % or less. Degree of protection IP67, operating temperature −25 to +55 °C. Connection: 0.2 mm² 3-core cabtyre cable, 2 m.
